Lupe Fiasco Says Islam Will Rule The World
Lupe Fiasco is on the spot light again. The musician has openly declared that Islam will someday rule the world. The star made his statement on his twitter account while responding to questions that were fired towards him by @Aubi_chon.
According to Grio, the debate aimed at analyzing the influence of Islam on lifestyle and the society’s attitude towards women’s rights. The Muslim rapper has explained the challenges that he faces due to his religion. The rapper was earlier quoted by BET saying that though his religion does not allow him to smoke and indulge in alcohol, he is very vulnerable to the vice depending on the people he hangsout with.
Lupe further added that those who use Islam to oppress others are misguided because the religion is meant to instil discipline on individuals.

He actually argued that he has friends who indulge in alcohol and tobacco but he has never pointed an accusing finger at them.
Islam has come under a lot of criticism following the streaming of a beheading clip that was recorded by ISIS. Most people have been expressing their concerns on social networks such as Twitter and Facebook. Some people feel that the religion is biased towards people who belong to other religions.
Fiasco’s statement seems to have been triggered by a recent discussion on Islam that involved Ben Affleck, Bill Maher and Sam Harris on issues surrounding gender equality and the acceptance of Islam in America.
The celebrities felt that America embraces tolerance by allowing for the inclusion of women and minority groups such as lesbians and homosexuals. They argued that Islam as a religion has never been discriminated against in the US.
