Microsoft Confirms To Kill Internet Explorer In Windows 10

Internet Explorer will be replaced by Project Spartan in Windows 10

Tech giants has a habit of shocking its followers all the time, so do not be surprised with Microsoft’s decision for killing it’s legacy software Internet Explorer, in Windows 10. You will not see Internet Explorer in Windows 10,Microsoft announced. According to the press conference by Microsoft’s marketing head, Chris Capossela, Microsoft has been working on brand new software, rumored as Project Spartan.

Though the name has not been finalized yet, but the new internet browser will be one of the new additions in Microsoft Windows 10. According to sources, Internet Explorer will exist, though it will be used only for Enterprise versions. As per reports based on surveys conducted on various internet browsers currently available in the market, Internet explorer does not appear to have good reputation as compared to its rival internet browsers. Since a number of competitor browsers have been launched in past few years with better service, it is probably the right time to kill it, and launch a brand new browser with comparatively better functionality. Reports have also revealed that Project Spartan will be named separately and will be the principal source for Windows 10 users to access internet.

During the Windows 10 event in January, Capossela also revealed some research made for new name of company’s new browser as compared to Internet Explorer. The data pointed that a number of users were happy with the use of “Microsoft” before the new confidential name of browser. Though Microsoft is asking public through various surveys what the upcoming name should be, however, it is still not acknowledged when the company plans to reveal the finalized name of its new browser. From the reports and news all over, Microsoft plans to isolate Internet Explorer from its domain and will launch Project Spartan as a part of its new browser.
