Miley Cyrus took part in two events that shook the world. She performed her hit song Wrecking Ball with the accompaniment of a cute cat animation. The cat cried diamond tears. And she also kissed Ryan Seacrest in the wee hours of 2014.

Miley Cyrus is not one to shy away from controversy or scandal for that matter. The inventor of the twerking craze and the no limits song “We can’t Stop” partook of the New Year’s Eve festivities with panache and volume. She performed her classic song Wrecking Ball with a cute kitten in the background crying tears that were diamonds.

According to Miley, she found the cat on Tumblr and contacted the animator who was in Japan. Then she and the director of her song got together and formed a gif of the fine feline friend. It was a match made in heaven. Miley looked absolutely adorable as she sang the song along with the animated cat in the background.

The next event she was a part of was a full-on kiss with Ryan Seacrest. Miley and Ryan locked lips amid cheers. Several other couples also swapped spit on the occasion of the New Year’s entry. One of them was Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg.

The timing was just right with the midnight hour in full swing. The kisses bewitched the crowd which went wild with delight. The crossover from 2013 to 2014 couldn’t have been any better than this.
