The watch is also water resistant and it has an optical heart rate monitor built in like the one on Gear Live

September is going to be quite a happening event in the history of phones and gadgets as we are expecting two of the most highly anticipated products; Apple’s sixth generation iPhone and Motorola’s new smartwatch. Motorola’s press event has been scheduled for September 4ht when it will unveil the Moto 360 smartwatch but looks like someone just couldn’t wait for that long and the suspense has been out of the bag. Best Buy mistakenly let a product page for the Android Wear smartwatch go online on their mobile site and we saw the product being listed with a $249.99 price tag.

But there is little suspense attached with this particular revelation since we had been getting hints that the Moto 360 would be priced at this level so it’s not the first time that we are coming across this price tag for the device. A contest was held back in /4/and the fine print of its rules showed us approximately the similar price tag.

The price tag for Motorola is just a little above what the previously announced Android smartwatches were priced at. If we all remember, the LG G Watch and the Samsung Gear Live, which cost $229 and $199.99 respectively, are cheaper than the Moto 360. But we are sure the Moto 360 has something much more to offer at this price range and one of these things is already obvious; no one would mind paying a little more for the attractive smartwatch design that Motorola has used. The circular display does well for the device’s appearance as well as usability.

It is not just the price that was revealed through this little Best Buy mistake. In fact, we have also seen that some specifications were also listed including an LCD touchscreen which is said to have a resolution of 320 x 290 and it is also said that the display is protected with Gorilla Glass 3. Some of the noteworthy features include the water resistant feature and the optical heart rate monitor built in like the one in Gear Live. The Moto 360 also comes along with a built-in pedometer.
