Since the very first day of its announcement, the Moto 360 was standing out because of its sleek and very contemporary design and at the I/O conference some samples were also given out and that’s how we know some details on the peripherals and the accessories. However the one feature that has caught our attention since the beginning is the wireless charging dock which can easily your device into more of a nightstand or a bedside clock. Even when it’s not in use, you can easily place it anywhere on the desk or bedside table with its compact size.
When it comes to the mobile world, the concept of wireless charging was rather met with some indifference but this is going to become quite important for the smartwatches because of the limited space they offer. Following the announcement of the Android Wear, we also had the Gear Live smartwatch by Samsung and now we keep hearing about Apple’s iWatch in the pipelines too. However, the Moto 360 still remains to be the favorite and not just because of the wireless charging dock but also with its IP67 standard certification which makes it dust and waterproof to 1m depth.
