- Rivera speaks in tongues.
The female rivalry has always been a part of news. The enmity does not only create hype but also collects attention of the people. The fans of celebrities find it interesting to know about them but when it comes to ill speaking or fights the interest takes the form rhapsodic.
The recent talk about Rivera and Kardashian infamous fight has made its way to social media. The incident took place when Kardashian did a bold and obscene photo shoot for a cover page of a magazine. The pictures when shared by a fan earned a lot of appreciation that was obvious due to the fact that it is common there. But to this photo shoot the comments by Rivera made it problematic. She opened a path way for others to express their opinions in a harsh and rude manner.
She said, “I normally don’t. But… you’re someone’s mother…”
Kardashian being a mother does not lose a right to do whatever she wants to do. Her photo shoot was exclusively her choice and Rivers did not have a right to state her feelings publicly. The situation became worse when she faced criticism from people. The situation became aggrieved and hurt the sentiments of people. The fans came forward with their statements and Rivers had to face a lot of criticism.
Her expression was totally wrong. In a society where it is common and is appreciated by others should not be objected. Being a mother does not keep Kardashain in ties to do things according to the norms established by the society. She is at liberty to do anything she wants. It is her right.
When Rivera could not handle the criticism she posted a photo along with the founder of the Instagram app Kevin Systrom. It was a stupid act and instead of dealing with the situation apologetically it further worsened the situation.
She captioned the photo, “#instagramgotmeintrouble @kevin.”
The comments posted by the viewers expressed their deep anger and it made Rivers look bad. The following comments are just the gist of the whole criticism.
“How sad! I met you two years ago at Kim’s birthday party in Vegas (we had all flown in for it, you included). Stop the hate.”
“badgeringKim all year and trying to hang out” and then dissing her like that.”
This is a normal practice where celebrities target their opponents out of jealousy or other emotion. Whatever they do never get them the appreciation if done unfairly. Rivera’s comment on photo however was wrong but her unapologetic behavior was the act that made the situation worst. Had she apologized, the situation would have lost the intensity. But when she posted her photo along with the founder of the Instagram app showed that she has no regrets. Being a woman she insulted another woman and left a mark on her womanhood.
In a society where women are capable of doing anything does not give them the right to ridicule anyone. Rivera should have apologized.
