New Interactive Payment Cards with Unprecedented Level of Data Protection debuted at CES 2015

  • The new technology used is ‘Computer in a Card’ which enables master card issuers around the world to introduce unprecedented level of data protection and provide card holders peace-of-mind.

Dynamics Inc. and MasterCard debut new payment card is first of its kind that has significant security features including a unique security function that only displays the full card number when the owner unlocks it at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show.

Dynamics Inc. is an innovator in next generation payment cards and systems. The company today introduced a security enhanced interactive payment cards to the globally renowned MasterCard customers at the International CES 2015 in Las Vegas.

This new technology by the company will provide the cardholders to experience near impregnable card security with three new and innovative functions. These functions will include being able to turn the card on or off and only unlock it with a secret code.

The other function will have a single use digital display code that will be provided for every online transaction and the third function will be having a unique security code sent to the magnetic stripe for each in store purchase. This shows that the security system provided by Dynamics Inc. will be very hard to break in and so the MasterCard customers will be secure with this. 

This new and innovative card includes a very thin computer circuit board that has been enclosed within the plastic and the cards will be featuring buttons, LEDS and displays which can then be customized for multiple purposes.

These cards will be compatible with existing point of sale terminals as well as EMV. The company for the ease of customers has also paired its interactive card technology with mobile applications in order for the customers to have a better management system for their accounts. 

There are three distinct security options which enable these functions. These include Unlock Card function, In-Store Dynamic Code Generation and Online Dynamic Code Generation. The In-Store Dynamic Code Generation will at each purchase will provide with a CVC1 code which will be written to the card’s magnetic stripe. 

Jeff Mullen the Chief Executive Officer of Dynamics stated that the consumers now rely heavily on payment cards and they can be relieved that their cards will have increased and better security to protect their money and personal information.

He also stated that the company’s innovative technology will enable MasterCard issuers to give their cardholders with first of its kind security features in order to ensure that only authorized cardholders will have the ability to use the card for payment. 

These security options have been made available since both the companies joined hands together last year. 

Carlos Menendez the Group Executive, Global Consumer Products of MasterCard stated that his company is focused to provide their customers the best and secure payment experience possible.

He also stated that the company is very excited and confident that the innovation of Dynamics Inc. will achieve what it commits to and satisfy our customers and merchants. Dynamics’ exhibit booth# 74367 is located at CES 2015 Tech West (Sands Expo).
