A reference to a “Mid 2014” Mac mini surfaced on an Apple support page as a likely error several months ago.
Haven’t we all just forgotten about the Mac mini ever since it got its last update two years ago? But there are still some fans of this mini desktop and the current users are anxiously waiting to get a word on any other update. We aren’t used to seeing a lot of rumors and leaks pertaining to the Mac products lineup and similarly we haven’t heard much about this Mac Mini either.

So far nothing has appeared on the rumor chart and what appeared several months ago on the Apple support page regarding a reference to a “Mid 2014” Mac mini is also forgotten completely. But thanks to MacRumors we do have some insight into the developments of this mini desktop. And from what they have heard it is deduced that Apple is planning a Mac mini update possibly launching next month alongside new iPad models and presumably OS X Yosemite.
There seems to be no information on an imminent update but the fans are simply going to love if they hear about a possible upcoming update on the Mac mini. As far as the possibility of a next-generation Mac mini is concerned, there seems to be no solid proof of that from the sources.
