Walmart has a new electronics sale online. One of the deals is a $39 Tablet with 8GB RAM. This price is lower than the best tablet deal last year.
There is apparently no barrier to lower prices on bargain tablets. Since the last 2 or 3 years, 7-inch Android tablets are flooding the market. Initially priced at around $100, the prices are now around $50. Walmart is now even going lower with a $39 Ematic 7-inch Tablet with 8GB Ram and a Quad-Core CPU. The lowest priced tablet during last year’s Black Friday was $39.99, but the tablet offered at the price by Best Buy only hat 4GB RAM.
The $39 Ematic tablet is running Android 4.2 with Google Play. Other features include HDMI port, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi b/g/n, 3-axis gyroscope and front webcam. The screen resolution is 1,024x600px.
So what is wrong with this $39 tablet? Apparently not much. Especially as Best Buy sells this exact same tablet for $99 right now. This means Walmart’s deal saves $60!
