The actress seems to be having trouble keeping up with the ‘Delena’ element in the famous CW show The Vampire Diaries
The #DelenaRainKiss Twitter campaign received a response from Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder which fans of Delena will certainly not appreciate. As it happens, the ex couple will no longer share the sweet rain kiss which TVD fans had been hoping to see. The actors, who have recently broken up, say that another rain scene will not be such a good idea.

As Ian goes on to say, the weather in Georgia is really cold and a rain scene in this cold will not be such a good idea after all. While recalling the previous kiss scene with Nina Dobrev, the hearthrob actor said that “It was below 30 degrees, and it got so cold the muscles in my jaw froze and I couldn’t speak. I looked like I had Bell’s palsy.” Even Nina Dobrev had a pretty intense after effect when she fell sick after shooting the scene; “I got icicles in my hair and I got really sick,” Nina revealed. Ian is reported to have said that he might endup leaving the show if he was made to do another rain scene.
Well, it appears that the cold weather isnt the only thing keeping the two away from another rain scene because things seem to be a bit cold between the once hot couple. Even at the fans event at Los Angeles, the two co-stars kept a noticeale distance from each other. An entertainment Web site also claims that there were no cozy moments from Ian and Nina at the PaleyFest red carpet unlike previous appearances. About this, the Entertainmentwise.com report says that “Instead the two stars posed separately with Nina looking gorgeous in a ladylike midnight blue midi dress which featured a plunging neckline. With her dark locks left loose and wavy and sultry smokey eye makeup, Nina was looking amazing as was her ex Ian, who scrubbed up well in a dark suit and tie.”
During recents days, Ian is also reported to have been talking to the TVD director about the relationship of the two actors on screen in Season 5. As it appears, the two only keep “taking their pants off” and they need to have a grown up conversation at some point in the show since they dont seem to be working fine.
