Defense company Northrop Grumman released a cool looking commercial that is reportedly going to air during the Super Bowl 2015. It would be the first Super Bowl ad I know of from a military technology company.
A Northrop Grumman Super Bowl 2015 Ad showing a future bomber will be airing between beer and car Super Bowl commercials? It all points towards that. Northrup Grumman has released a 30-second commercial titled Hangar that shows several of their bombers the company developed.
According to Breaking Defense, this commercial will air during the Super Bowl 2015. The Northrop Grumman Super Bowl 2015 commercial would be the first for a defense contractor I have seen.
The Northrop Grumman commercial looks like a scene out of Men in Black. The bomber in the final scene is supposed the be new Long Range Strike Bomber the company is currently competing for with Boeing and Lockheed.
Northrop Grumman accompanies the Hangar ad with this message: “When the world says it can’t be done, Northrop Grumman forges ahead and does it anyway. For over 75 years, we’ve delivered the world’s most advanced aircraft—from the first and only stealth bomber, to the first unmanned aircraft to autonomously launch and land on an aircraft carrier. This is what we do.”
The company launched also a great web special that lets you explore each of the airplanes the company has developed including the YB-35, Global Hawk Drone, B-2 and X-47B.
Is the Northrop Grumman Super Bowl 2015 Ad aimed at the defense department to influence the decision making process? Who knows. It could also just because Northrop Gruman celebrates its 75th anniversary. Watch the cool ad below.
