NVIDIA's G-Sync Lands on Gaming Laptops

Nvidia has finally revealed that its G-Sync technology is coming to gaming laptops

gamers to experience smoother and lag free gaming on their gaming laptops and desktop PCs. We now finally know what NVIDIA has been working on as the company best known to manufacture best GPUs has just announced G-Sync. According to NVIDIA, G-Sync will effectively improve the overall gaming experience for the users. The G-Sync enabled laptops will be featuring NVIDIA approved screens with 75 Hz refresh rates, stuttering, input lags and other problems that affects the gaming experience.

NVIDIA has announced that G-Sync will be available with the upcoming high end gaming laptops which will be using the latest GPUs like 960M, 970M, 980M and 956M from NVIDIA. Even if you own one of the laptops having one of these GPUs, the new and latest drivers are now available on the NVIDIA’s website so you can install them and make the most of it. As for the desktop PCs, the users need to have the G-Sync monitors and of course the required GPU as normal monitors are not compatible with the 75 Hz refresh rate.

Before the update the refresh rate was more of a static at 60 Hz, but after the update it would be improved, thus it will improve the overall gaming experience and get rid of the possible stutters and lags.

Here is the list of laptops from Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, and Clevo which will be the first to sport 75 Hz refresh G-Sync panels according to PCGamer.

 

— Asus G751: GTX 970M/980M, 17.3-inch 1080p panel

— Gigabyte Aorus X7 Pro-Sync: GTX 970M SLI, 17.3-inch 1080p panel

— Gigabyte Aorus X5, GTX 965M SLI, 15.6-inch 3K panel (probably 2880×1620)

— MSI GT72 G: GTX 970M/980M, 17.3-inch 1080p panel

— Clevo P770ZM-G: 970M/980M, 17.3-inch 1080p panel

 

— Clevo P750GM-Z: 970M/980M, 15.6-inch, 4K panel
