Old Spice has just landed a huge viral it with the Old Spice Mom Song videos, but that is not enough for the brand. Now they launched an cool prank campaign that is ideal to trick one of your “manly” friends.
Old Spice is back big time with viral video ad hits. First the Old Spice Mom Song has taken the net by storm. Now Mustafa is back to with a cool campaign involving fake web sites. Old Spice launched a series of fake product web sites that are featuring “manly man” products including 100% black Leather sheets, push up muscle shirt, 100% solid gold headset and cologne with real protein in it. If you click to buy on one of the sites, mustafa appears and sets you straight.
These sites are ideal for pranking your macho friends, if you got some. Do it now before everybody heard of the new Old Spice campaign. You can start at Toughsheets.com. Other fake sites include SmellPulse.com, GlitzElectronics, Zaneckworkouts and FlatteringMan.
The question is if Old Spice is going to advertise during the Super Bowl 2014. So far there is no official word on this. Old Spice is though managing to grab a lot of online attention for their new ads ahead of Super Bowl 2014.
Super Bowl 2014 will take place in New Jersey on February 2. The big game will be played in the Metlife stadium in East Rutherford. It will be the first outdoor, cold-weather Super Bowl.
