Olivia Munn will play Psylocke in X-Men: Apocalypse

Olivia Munn confirms to play the warrior with telepathic powers, namely Psylocke in X-Men: Apocalypse.

The beautiful Olivia Munn will act as Betsy Braddock in X-Men: Apocalypse. She will also be Psylocke, the telepathic fighter in the series which is to appear in theaters some time next year.

The director of the series, Bryan Singer made the important announcement on Instagram. This new movie will be the sequel to X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Olivia Munn has also confirmed the news on her Instagram. She already appeared in The Newsroom. The character of Psylocke was created by Claremont and Trimpe.

Among the characters that Munn will be joining /4/be included: James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Jennifer Lawrence. It will be a two-in-one role that Olivia Munn will be playing. She will be both Betsy Braddock and Psylocke.

Bryan Singer welcomed Olivia Munn aboard the X-Men phenomenon. With such a talented heroine as Jennifer Lawrence (think Hunger Games) on board the enterprise, the additional leavening in the form of Olivia Munn will surely make the deal a case of the more the merrier.  

Mei Melancon played Psylocke in the X-Men series that got displayed about a decade ago. But today it is Olivia Munn who will be the choicest chica for the role.
