Oppo introduced its 5.5-inch Quad HD Find 7 smartphone to a rapt global audience recently. And it is the world’s first smartphone that has the coolest camera that can take 50MP pictures.
Wouldn’t you like to take 50MP photographs of scenery, people or everyday objects? Well, my friend, that dream of yours is about to come true. Oppo Find 7 is about to come on the scene soon. Mid-April is the slated date. And the 7 and 7a versions will be available for $600 and $500 respectively.
They will be sold in the United States, Mexico and China. So far there have been a lot of teaser campaigns meant to popularize the device. And the leaked photos of the gadget are impressive too. China is the venue of its official unveiling.
The fact that it can catch 50 megapixel images is due to a trick of the trade: a 13 megapixel Sony IMX214 CMOS. However, the results are worth it so we will withhold our judgment in this matter. The processor on the device is titled the Pure Image 2.0.
The Ultra-Zoom gizmo snatches 10 concordant shots and then collates the four best ones into a 50 megapixel final form. The details are caught in all their magical, mystical depth. It sure relegates the Xperia Z1 to the outdated list of other zombie smartphones.
Slow motion video facility is coupled with RAW mode. It is basically a 5.5 inch contraption that is to be found in two models: 7 and 7a. The former contains a 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 801, 3GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage space, a 3000mAh battery not to mention a quad HD display.
Meanwhile, the latter has within it a 2.3 Snapdragon 800, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of intrinsic storage capacity, a 2800mAh cell and a 1080p display screen. The Find 7 also has an aluminum-titanium casing that has a carbon fiber rear side.
The screen is made of Gorilla Glass so it’s virtually unbreakable. And while gripping it /4/hurt a little if you are a sensitive soul, the mechanism is a wonder to behold and operate. Obtain one when it comes on the scene and become a shutterbug of the highest order.
