Former Pastor of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church confesses regarding his crimes.
Pastor with AIDS Confesses to Eengaging in Sex with Church Members
The former pastor of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, Juan Demetrius McFarland confessed that he had AIDS. He also said that he had slept with many female members of the church without revealing the fact that he was down with full blown AIDS.
A few Sundays ago, Juan Demetrius McFarland, the former minister of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, confessed that he not only had AIDS, but he had also slept with various members of the church, according to WSFA 12 News.
On September 14, McFarland admitted everything to the worshipers of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. He told them that he contracted HIV in 2003 and came to know about it in 2008. Sleeping with other church members is not the end of McFarland’s crimes. On the contrary, it’s just the beginning.
He also confirmed to WSFA 12 News that in his 23 years of service he has been misusing church funds and doing drugs. This news was the ultimate shocker for the members, according to a church deacon, Nathan Williams Jr.
An unnamed member of the church said that the church was willing to help McFarland in any way possible and also it was very accepting towards the respected former pastor.
McFarland was removed from his post as the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church’s pastor on the 5th of October. According to some church members there are many congregation members who are concerned, whereas others are afraid to come forward.
Another unnamed member of the church asked, “Who does this to people, and you are the leader? Who does this?” In addition to this the unnamed church member said that he knows a member of the church who has slept with McFarland and that person is now worried about herself.
That person doesn’t want this news to go public. The unnamed member also said that his heart goes out to her because she is a wonderful member of the church.
During the interview the unnamed member also said that I am hoping that she comes out and talks to someone and that her name will not be revealed. Deacon Williams, a member of the church for 70 years said that this is the biggest scandal in the history of the church.
