Patrick Fugit Will Feature in Outcast
Patrick Fugit is one lucky man. The actor has secured a filming deal with Cinemax for their upcoming Outcast movie.
According to Deadline, the film is adopted from a string of comedies that have already hit the big screens.
The film will be produced by Robert Kirkman. The producer is known by many for having produced The walking Dead. Fugit will work alongside Philip Glenister.
Philip is famous for having featured in Life on Mars. Gabriel Bateman will also feature in the film.
Fugit actually featured in Gone Girl. The film is so great which has left most people hoping that it will make it to the Oscars. The actor will pose as Kyle Barnes where he will take the place of a small boy who has demons.
The kid struggles to unearth the truth beneath his misery. He however realizes that the truth is a threat to human existence.
Glenister has been assigned the role of Reverend Anderson, a preacher who preaches water and drinks wine.
Despite his double standards, the preacher is convinced that he is part of a spiritual army that is united to defeat the evil.
Additionally, Bateman will come into the cast as an eight year old boy, Joshua Austin. The young boy has demons that torment him and he is somehow related to Kyle.
Dan Stevens has featured in The Guest which premiered in September. The actor is seen as a stranger that ruins the lives of a certain family. The script for Outcast was authored by Kirkman.
It is only later that Cinemax bought the script. Other producers in the film include Chris Black, David Alpert of Circle of Confusion, Sharon Tal Yguado of FIC, and Sue Naegle.
