Portia De Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres celebrate 6th Anniversary

The lesbian couple consisting of Portia De Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres celebrated six years of their marriage together.

The two have been through a loving albeit rocky relationship since the past half a dozen years. Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary in style. 

And Ellen was high as a kite over her lover and spouse’s skywriting which spelled out the word “SIX” in the blue bowl overhead. Portia had the practical artwork done on the weekend just for the sake of her partner in life, Ellen DeGeneres. 

The two shared a snap and posted it online. It came as somewhat of a pleasant surprise for Ellen who went ahead and commented regarding the situation on Twitter.

It was indeed a melting memory the two shared of being Sapphic sirens. Ellen and Portia are cheek by jowl in the pic and they are both chuckling in a cheeky way. 

While Ellen wore a blue tee, Portia had a white tank top on her upper body. Ellen’s happiness knew no bounds when she saw the word “six” imprinted in smokescreen fashion in the airy sky. 

She told the world to look at what her paramour had done for her sake. It was a source of delight for Ellen and a tonic to her soul. Maybe it proved that two women can love one another with the same intensity as a man and a woman. 

America came up with homosexuality and lesbianism and its most visible symbols today are Portia De Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres who are famous celebrities in their own right. 

“They’ve had their ups and downs,” a source told PEOPLE in July. “Portia has been very outspoken about previous issues, like her eating disorder, and she’s good at seeking help when she needs to. They’ve worked out difficulties in the past, and no doubt they’re trying to work out any problems right now.”

Ellen even has her own talk show which is a powerful platform for change. The two have had an imbalanced marriage in which Portia has had alternating recurrences of her eating disorder which she suffers from. 

Ellen is said to be very possessive about Portia and does not allow her any freedom or space either. But Ellen has dismissed all these rumors regarding their marriage being on the rocks by saying that she didn’t know about any of these fictions. She said that she loved her partner all the more for she was all she had.
