Radio Disney for Ford SYNC AppLink will be on display at CES 2015

Ford will become the first automaker to integrate Radio Disney App for family friendly content and music on the road.

The Radio Disney app will be available soon for Ford SYNC AppLink to stream music for families with an easy touch of a button inside Ford vehicles.

Ford Motor Company has announced today about its plan to integrate the Radio Disney smartphone app with the Ford SYNC AppLink and will be displayed at the International CES 2015 in Las Vegas that starts from next week. Due to this app drivers will be able to stream music for kids and families 24 hours a day inside a Ford vehicle.

Julius Marchwicki the Connected Services Product manager for Ford stated that there are a numerous number of music-streaming apps that are at the moment compatible with AppLink but the Radio Disney is the first family music app. Julius further said that the drivers will be able to keep their entire family entertained while they focus on the road without any disruptions.

Now the Radio Disney app starts to work when the driver connects his or her smartphone with the Ford SYNC through Bluetooth. A static image will display with various options such as pause and play which allows the driver to make music selections.

Eric Goldstein the vice president, Distribution and Consumer Engagement, Radio Disney stated that their company has always wanted to provide kids and families an easy access to Radio Disney and partnering with Ford gives our company a great opportunity to connect them while on the go.

Eric also stated that with the integration of Ford SYNC AppLink technology in the Radio Disney app the kids can now share their favorite music for a safe and interactive entertainment experience which is what our company has always wanted.

For those who are unaware of the Radio Disney app should know that it is a 24 hour radio network that is devoted to kids and families. The app includes family friendly music by some of today’s most well-known and renowned artists. The app also provides with videos of artist interviews and even live performances. The app reaches nearly 21 million listeners each week which shows its popularity among the kids and families.

Alos if you do not know Ford has set the benchmark for in-car connectivity with SYNC which will be available in its new vehicles. Drivers can now pair their mobiles with the car through Ford SYNC to make and receive calls and also enjoy and operate other features hands-free using voice command. The Ford SYNC AppLink is now available in more than 1.5 million vehicles on the road in North America.
