Matthew Morrison, the Glee star finally married his longtime girlfriend Renee Puente. It was a small wedding and took place in Hawaii.
Finally the couple has decided to seal the deal. According to E! News, Renee Puente got married to Matthew Morrison on Saturday in front of 50 friends and family members. The wedding took place in Maui, Hawaii, on a private estate, according to People.
Morrison, who is 35 years old, proposed to his girlfriend last year with a blue sapphire ring. Puente was wearing a beautiful dress on her wedding; she was wearing a long-sleeved, ivory-colored wedding gown. The gown was designed by a famous designer, Gustavo. She was carrying a matching cascading bouquet and was wearing a pink rose flower crown. On the other hand, the groom was wearing a tuxedo designed by Brooks Brothers along with leafy lei.
Puente also gave a special performance for her husband during the reception. According to the magazine, Morrison later on joined his wife and as a couple they performed to Laura Benanti’s “Video Games/Starry Eyed.” The Glee star had already informed Access Hollywood Live that his wedding is going to be a “very, very small” one.
Morrison’s engagement was announced by two of his very good friends, Elton John and David Furnish. They announced the engagement on the 27th of June, 2013 in London at their White Tie and Tiara ball. Another friend of Morrison, Chris Martin, who is the front-man of Coldplay, congratulated the couple and dedicated the song “Your Song” to the newly-engaged couple.
The very next day, Morrison updated his Tweet status, he wrote, “An incredible night of LOVE @ejaf Ball. I’m going to marry my best friend!” In addition to this he said that he was really inspired by all the positive wishes especially when the world is full of so much negativity. He also said that he is really thankful for all those who wished and prayed for them.

The couple was very happy and thrilled at the time of their engagement, according to E! News. We wish the couple all the best for their future life together.
