The focus of Rihanna’s designing skills will be Puma shoes but the singer will also help in coming up with pants and tops.

NYDaily reported last year that the contract between Rihanna and Puma will be worth a whopping $1 million. However, the contract was also said to forbid Rihanna, who is obsessed with Adidas, not to wear rival brands. And the singer reportedly has to start incorporating more Puma wear into her wardrobe. Rihanna is also expected to wear Puma in and out of her shoots.

Rihanna is world famous for her choice of edgy and daring style, while some have speculated for a long time the Barbadian singer will be entering the fashion industry very soon. The collaboration with Puma isn’t even Rihanna’s first time working as a designer. In 2011, she worked with Armani to come up with underwear and jeans.

Rihanna has also co-designed a line with Adam Selman of the British store River Island, who is also responsible for some of her more dramatic looks on the red carpet. In 2014, Rihanna was also involved in coming up with two luxury cosmetic lines with MAC cosmetics.

Rihanna also sat down with British Vogue and explained her foray into fashion. Rihanna shared it’s not all about the voice as there are people with better voices than hers, but it also includes the fashion sense of an artist, as it can be used to express the mood.
