Robert Downey Jr. has become a father again. And this time, it’s a baby girl. Robert Downey Jr. already have two sons. Indio is the name of his first son that he has from his previous wife. He is 21 years old right now.
Downey has another 2½-year-old son Exton from current wife Susan. And now People reported that Downey and his wife, Susan, have become the parents of a baby girl. Susan, 40, gave birth to Downey’s daughter in Los Angeles.
The Iron Man star had already paid tribute last week to his than pregnant wife during the BAFTA Los Angeles Jaguar Britannia Awards. The Judge actor won Stanley Kubrick Britannia Award for Excellence in Film.
Robert Downey Jr. and his wife of 9 years, Susan, looked like a happy, contented couple at the red carpet of the awards ceremony. It looked like they are madly in love with each other. And 49-year-old Downey not only talked about his lovely wife’s pregnancy but also about his soon-to-be born baby girl.
“How is she still so darn pretty and functional and mood-stable? The second pregnancy has been extraordinarily tough for me. Self-prescribed mandatory bed rest was of some benefit. At least my milk is finally coming in,” said Susan Downey.
“It’s just the uncertainty of how nowadays you have all these things where you think you have much more of an understanding of what you’re going to get,” said Downey. “And then this little soul lets herself be known to you, and it’s just like: You don’t know anything. It’s great!”
Robert Downey Jr. first announced about his wife’s pregnancy in July. He made the announcement via his Twitter and Facebook accounts.
“Yo. Susan. Me. Baby. Girl. November. Scorpio?” he tweeted in July.
Robert also made an announcement on his Facebook page, revealing the couple are ‘delighted’ by their impending arrival.
“Um. I don’t know if it’s a “man’s world”, but I’m certain women run it. Susan and I are therefore delighted to announce we are expecting a baby. Girl. November. rdj,” he wrote on his Facebook.
