Samsung Galaxy S5 with two versions

Samsung Galaxy fans are without any doubt anxiously waiting for the Barcelona event on the 24th of this month because everyone just can’t wait to hear more about the Samsung Galaxy S4. Though this will be an official event and everyone is sure of it to happen but the rumors and possible leaks are still coming through. Some information from AnTuTu suggests that there just might be two different devices under the S5 nametag; the SM-G900H and SM-G900R4. These two devices will have quite varying specifications.

If this rumor is to be believed then we can rightly conclude that Samsung is following into the footsteps of Apple by introducing a lower end version of their popular phone. Apple released the iPhone 5c and 5s in the similar fashion.

A look at the specs tells us that the SM-G900R4 is going to run on a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 CPU and an Andreno 330 GPU. It will feature a RAM of 3 GB and an internal storage of 32 GB and will come with the latest Kit Kit 4.4.2. Moving on to the hardware specs, the phone will feature a 16MP primary camera and a 2.1MP front-facing unit along with a QHD display. The SM-G900H version on the other hand will feature 1.5GHz Octa-Core Samsung Exynos 522 CPU and an ARM Mali-T628 GPU. It will have a RAM of 2 GB and an internal storage of 16 GB. This clearly shows how Samsung has created a lower end version of their upcoming S5.
