All major carriers in the country are offering the two variants
Good news for the UK residents as they can start placing their orders for the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the S6 Edge. The pre orders are open with all the major carriers in the country and their details have been discussed below.
Vodafone
If you are looking for the Gold Platinum version, then Vodafone has one for you in its stock for both the S6 variants which can be purchased in 128 GB storage option. Even if you are not on Vodafone at the moment, the carrier has some pretty amazing incentives which will make you switch. They are offering a free 32GB Galaxy S6 with 2GB data for £43.50 a month whereas the 64GB version goes up to £48.50 a month. The highest 128 GB requires a £19 upfront with £53.50 per month. And as far as the 64GB and 128GB models of the Galaxy S6 are concerned, they are priced at the same levels and are available with 2GB of 3G data and if you pay an £5 per month you can get 7GB of 4G data.
Carrier EE
The carrier is offering White Pearl or Black Sapphire Galaxy in both variants which will be delivered when the phone launches on April 10th. The Gold Platinum version will also be available but it will come at a later date. EE asks for a £49.99 upfront for the 32 GB Galaxy S6 with a £43.49 monthly payment with 4GB of 4G data and with the same upfront value and £53.49 a month you can get the 64GB option. The 64 GB of the S6 version on the other hand asks for £49.99 upfront and £54.49 a month with 20GB of 4G data.
Carphone Warehouse
It is offering both the Black and White models which will again be delivered on the launch day and those who want the Gold version or a storage update will have to wait longer as the delivery time extends from 4 to 6 weeks. They are offering the Galaxy S6 with £80 upfront and £39.50 a month for the 32GB model, £60/£48.50 for the 64GB model and £130/£43.50 for the 128GB one. The 64 GB S6 Edge variant on the other hand is £160 upfront and £43.50 a month and the 128 GB is quite a mouthful with £220 upfront and £48.50 a month.
O2
O2 requires no upfront payment and for the base 32 GB version you will need to sign a £48 a month contract and the phone will be delivered when it launches. As for the 64 GB model, it will arrive on April 17th and asks for 53 a month. the 64 GB S6 Edge variant on the other hand asks for £10 upfront and £53 a month.
