Samsung Galaxy S6 Benchmark Tests Show Amazing Performance Results

Thanks to the company’s latest Exynos chip, the smartphones have outrun major competitors in the market

The phone isn’t only outwardly amazing, but it has impressed us all even more with what it features on the inside. The downward trend of the Galaxy began with the S5 last year which highly disappointed the Galaxy fans as well as Samsung in terms of sales numbers but it is also going to end with the new Galaxy number – the S6. Looks like Samsung has taken its lessons seriously and whatever mistakes went into making the Galaxy S5 a disappointing choice for users, we are pretty sure Samsung has learnt from them along the journey through the development of the latest Galaxy S6.

Though the phone hasn’t even touched the market as yet, but most of the sources have already deduced that the Korean giant has certainly made it through this time around with the S6. At this year’s MWC, we saw the gorgeous looking S6 variants and what is even more exciting is the fact that they are full of some amazing next-generation mobile technology. These aren’t merely perceptions and assumptions but whatever is being said about the phone is based on actual benchmark results.

The Gorilla Glass 4 and aluminum have surely done an amazing job with the phone’s exterior but take a look inside and this is where the real fun begins. The Galaxy S6 and the S6 Edge feature Samsung’s own latest Exynos processor which is a 14nm octa-core chipset brining along a couple of industry firsts. There is 3GB of class-leading LPDDR4 RAM inside the phone UFS 2.0 flash storage which is the fastest one on the market at the moment.

The benchmark tests were conducted by Computer Base on the Galaxy S6 and from what we can see, the phone has managed to outrun its toughest competitors. For quite some time, the Apple iPhone 6 had been a top performer but now it has been left behind slightly with HTC One M9 and the Galaxy S6 having pulled ahead with some considerable margin with S6 exceeding the M9 by 15%. The performance is all dependent on the new Exynos chipset, but there are still doubts as to whether Samsung will include these chipsets for the US versions of the smartphones or not.
