The Samsung Galaxy Gear S made its international debut in August and the time is near when it will soon be in our hands as it is coming to the states and to be honest we cant really wait for it. The official date for the launch of the Samsung wearable was announced by the company as November 7th. It has been a while since we all have been looking forward to the Gear S and the Tizen powered smartwatch is going to be available in two colors of black and white. At the moment we know that all the major carriers in the US will be offering the Gear S including AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon. And of course you can always make your purchase at the Samsung Experience Shops in Best Buy stores.

One of the much talked about features on the wearable is the literally ‘huge’ screen. The Gear S comes equipped with 2-inch 480×360 Super AMOLED screen and we can confidently claim that this is by far the largest screen we have seen on any wearable watch. And wait till you hear what’s below this impressive screen. Underneath is a powerful dual-core 1GHz processor which is housed along with 4GB of storage, 512MB of RAM and a 300mAh battery.

The Gear S offers standalone cellular connectivity which is also another notable feature on the highly anticipated wearable. With the help of this feature, users of the smartwatch will be able to make calls, receive and reply to notifications and send emails without having a phone nearby.

Pricing comparisons will be hard at this point since each carrier is going to announce its pricing individually. From what we have heard so far, the wearable will be available for $0 down and 24 monthly payments of $16, or a total of $384 from Sprint. The Gear S is also available with the Sprint Family Share Pack which asks for $10 per month however this charge is going to be waived through December next year once the Gear S is added to a Family Share Pack of 20GB or more.

T-Mobile has claimed that it will start selling the wearable on November 9th and the pre order shave already started today. The pricing will be set at $0 down and 24 payments of $14.58 each, with a full retail price of $349.92. T-Mobile also has a Gear S rate plan which is going to cost $5 per month and will include unlimited talk and text as well as 500MB of data.
