Scott Porter Welcomes First Baby Boy McCoy Lee Porter

Scott Porter’s happiness knows no bounds. Scott Porter is the proud dad of his first baby who he and his wife Kelsey Mayfield have named McCoy Lee Porter.

Scott Porter and his spouse Kelsey Mayfield are an actor and casting director respectively. They are now the beaming parents of a baby boy who just got delivered after 44 hours of agony. And it happens to be their first offspring. 

Ah! The joys of parenthood…late nights spent cooing the baby to sleep, changing smelly diapers and burping the little tyke! Scott’s wife sent a message on Instagram alongside a pic of the little angel.

It said “someone made an appearance yesterday. Welcome to the world McCoy Lee Porter!”. She welcomed him to the world with all its stresses and storms.

As for Scott, he kept up with the various stages of pre-delivery angst and pain that his wife faced in her labor of pregnancy. He was very supportive and reminded her that she had to be a fighter and tenacious soul.

The two had tied the knot two years back. And nine months ago, Kelsey became preggers. Now that she is a mom, she can look forward to a spate of congrats from every corner of her circle of influence.

Scott even said that he was more like a drone while his wife was the queen bee. That means that he acknowledges that females are the real creators of the human race and males have only a limited role in the reproductive process.

Scott has had roles in various screen projects such as Hart of Dixie, the X-Men Series and The Good Wife. He is a competent actor and knows the ins and outs of show biz like the back of his hand. His wife too is a very talented and beautiful lady.
