Nude pictures of Selena Gomez, which appear to have been taken in a bedroom, leaked on Tumblr Wednesday by user lakelel33. These pictures were reportedly taken from Selena’s own cellphone and while they don’t clearly show the face, some facial features such as the girl’s lips and hair can be seen in the shots. The user who posted the pictures on Tumbler has claimed that these pictures were intentionally leaked by Selena’s own PR team in order to get some media coverage for her.

The user wrote, “No doubt Selena Gomez will feign being shocked and embarrassed by the leaking of these private nude pictures, and she will try to claim that her cellphone was hacked so that no one will state the obvious that her PR team leaked these pictures for attention.” Since the face isn’t clearly visible, many fans are not taking the pictures to be of Selena Gomez.

We wouldn’t think that her PR team would need to pull off such a stunt for more publicity since the 22 year old Gomez is already in the limelight with another scandal which erupted after she spent her birthday with model Cara Delevingne last month. The two relaxed while on their vacation in St. Tropez and on Selena’s birthday they were spotted on a yacht and looked very comfortable together as they sunbathed and then shared a shower. Tommy Chiabre, who was dating Jessica Szohr, was also seen on the yacht.

GossipCop reports that a rep of Selena Gomez told them that the girl in the photos is not Selena Gomez. Case closed?
