The device is slated for release in November

The upcoming “Nexus 6″ by Google, which has also been called the Nexus X because of the Blade Runner, has been rumored since a very long time and we even saw plenty of leaked specs and features pertaining to the phone. However, the phone lacked any solid information and proof of existence until now and this had been getting for more painful for those who had passed on the iPhone 6 and the One Plus hoping to get something better out of this one. Well, those who had taken their time to wait for this one are certainly in for some good news.

We are now affirming the previous rumors which said that the large screen size is nudging the phone out of the territory of a smartphone and is putting it more towards the phablet category. With a massive 5.92-inches screen, this phone is without a fraction of a doubt more phablet than a phone. According to 9to5Google, the overall appearance of the device looks more like a scaled up 2nd generation Moto X with some minor adjustments that would make the phone easier to use even with the bigger size.

Last month a report leaked through GFXBench and it confirmed a variety of facts about the device and we are quite sure that we have our hands on the specs of the phone. So we have here a 5.2-inch 1440p display, a 2.6GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter and Android L which is going to come as a surprise to many. However these are still to be trusted. While many of these can be true, some are merely rumors because a recent device we are directly familiar with has shown that only some of this aligns with reality.

The device that we are referring to here is equipped with a 5.92-inch screen, as mentioned above, with QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440. From what we have calculated, this screen comes in at 498 PPI which is pretty impressive and we also speculate an equally impressive 3,200 mAh battery which is going to take the load of all these pixels.

The camera setup also gets some amazing points here with a 13 MP shooter at the back and from what we have heard through the rumors, the phone is going to have the ability to shoot 4K UHD video at launch. As for the front shooter, the device is going to have a 2 MP camera that is identical to the one on the 2nd generation Moto X.
