Country singer Shania Twain announces the last tour of her hugely successful decade’s long career on the show ‘Good Morning America’.

Today on the show ‘Good Morning America’ live in Times Square the immensely successful country singer Shania Twain made a big announcement to her fans as she will be going on tour, however the tour will be her farewell world tour. While on the show the Queen of Country Pop Shania Twain seemed radiant after so many years in the industry and declared as it is her last tour she will be making the most of it.

The music superstar is going to retire from her long career spanning a couple of decades and after 11 years she is going back on tour.  In Shania Twain’s long and successful career we have seen her sell more than 75 million albums, win 9 Billboard Music awards, 5 American music awards and a grand total of 5 Grammys.  

According to Shania Twain the tour is sort of an after party to her career after all the years and it will start on the 5th of June, 2015 in Seattle. The tour will visit 48 cities in the United States and Shania Twain’s home country Canada. The all-encompassing will be the last tour by the country songstress as she wishes to hang up her hat and go out with a bang.

The tour will be entitled ‘Rock This Country’ and according to Twain her fans will be an integral part of the tour as she looks to her fans for support and inspiration. Shania Twain further revealed she loves to be a part of her audience and like to hear their stories, especially talking to them during the show. 

The tickets for the tour will be available from Tuesday the 10th of March only for Twain’s fans and will available to the general public from Friday the 13th of March.

In 1997 Shania Twain came upon the music scene with her album ‘Come on Over’ which went on to become the best-selling country album ever by a female artist of all time. Fans should not be disappointed by her last tour as after the tour Shania Twain will be releasing another album.

Twain has been vigorously visiting the recording studio and will be releasing her next album when she hits her big Golden jubilee birthday. Twain said she wants her album to come out when she is 50 to mark the time in August. 

Most recently before announcing her tour Shania Twain had been busy with her Las Vegas gig where she performed for 2 years at the Colosseum, Caesar’s Palace. A CD and DVD of the entire performances were recently released.
