Smartphone apps have certainly been one of the main draws this week at the International Consumer Electronics Show 2015 in Las Vegas. CES 2015 though is certainly the year of the smartwatch as the Apple Watch and the Android Wear is set to come on to the market in 2015. One app geared for the smartwatch industry and that has been featured this week at CES 2015 is the SmartStart. SmartStart allows the consumer to be able to start, lock, unlock, and keep a running track on the location of their vehicles. It is a voice activated app which means all a person has to do is talk to their watch to be able to activate the features of SmartStart.

SmartStart is a dual project that involves the innovative digital programming company in MJD and the long time automobile security company in Viper. Both of the companies and their executives have nothing but huge praises for the SmartStart. They wanted to make a product that was both functional but at the same time stylish and wearable. The release date for the SmartStart app is set sometime for early 2015 as Apple Watch has also a tentative release date set for sometime during the early part of 2015. SmartStart is compatible with all Viper smart technology and the SmartStart will be one of the stock apps with the Apple Watch which means that it will be no additional costs for the app when the consumer purchases an Apple Watch.

MJD has been one of the leaders in the smart digital technology market of late. The company is responsible for the development of the RiteFit application by StrideRite which keeps track of the steps and strides of children and also the development of the Oakley Airwave goggles. These smart goggles are for skiers and warn them of things that could be ahead of them while they are skiing.

The International Consumer Electronics Show 2015 comes to an end on Friday, January, 9th, 2015.
