Super Bowl 2015 Ads get a Make Over

Super Bowl 2015 Ads get a Make Over

The Super Bowl 2015 ads will be very different from past years as 15 newcomers join the Super Bowl ad line-up.

In past years Super Bowl commercials have been all about cars and beer. This year there will be fewer car ads and even Budweiser scaled back their ad time and only will release three 60 second spots. NBC demands $4.5 million for a 30 second spot this year, but they managed to attract newcomers to the Super Bowl advertising adventure to fill up the slot the Super Bowl advertising veterans like Volkswagen left empty.

The Super Bowl newcomers include small companies like Wix.com and Mophie, but also large ones like Carnival Cruises. Also several companies who have not advertised in the Super Bowl in years make a comeback including McDonald’s and Nissan.

By far not all Super Bowl advertisers have come forward yet. We currently track 23 in our Super Bowl 2015 Ad Chart.
