SodaStream will advertise again at the Super Bowl. Last year their initial Super Bowl Ad got banned by CBS.
The Super Bowl 2014 takes place on February 2, 2014 and will have besides the big game a huge line-up of Super Bowl ads. Fox managed to charge $4 million on average for 30 second spots. Here is another entry in the Super Bowl 2014 Ad Line-up. The SodaStream Super Bowl 2014 Ad marks the second consecutive year for the home carbonation company to tackle canned soft drinks.
Last year the initial SodaStream Super Bowl Ad got banned by CBS, most likely because of the direct attacks on Pepsi and Coca-Cola. SodaStream ended up to publish a revised ad.
“The Super Bowl is a proven venue for SodaStream to deliver our beverage revolution message to over 100 million viewers, empowering consumers to enjoy a smarter, “better-for-you” alternative to packaged soda,” said Daniel Birnbaum, CEO of SodaStream. “The soda industry is dated and ripe for disruption. Our strong growth demonstrates that SodaStream is blazing the trail to a future where it will be mainstream for people to easily make fresh, delicious soda at home, no longer needing to lug bottles and cans of soda that can be unhealthy, often go flat, and generate billions of tons of garbage.”
“SodaStream has opened a world of beverage freedom, choice and control, and consumers can now explore a boundless set of options to customize their favorite carbonated drinks,” said Gerard Meyer, President of SodaStream USA. He continued, “Last year our Super Bowl investment strengthened our retail relationships and raised our brand profile, yielding higher consumer awareness and resulting in excellent sales growth. This year we will again create an unforgettable viewer experience and an integrated marketing campaign across all media channels and point-of-sale activations in order to amplify the investment for maximum impact.”
Let’s see what SodaStream is coming up with this year. The company works with The Cross Agency to create the SodaStream Super Bowl 2014 Ad.
