Pictures, which might be fake, show thinner bezels
It is not unusual for us to see Sony refreshing its flagship Android smartphones twice very year and this isn’t such a common practice among its competitors. This has become a trend and it has previously been met with a lot of criticism particularly from owners of the previous top of the line device when the new one comes out but it seems like nothing can be done about it. So brace yourselves for an Xperia Z2 successor which will most probably land in fall. We would bet our money on the IFA in September or somewhere “around” that time at least.
This is going to be the next in line and might be called the Xperia Z3 and there are also chances that it could also be joined in the company’s portfolio by a smaller version called Z3 Compact. Both these potential successor candidates can be seen in the pictures which have recently been leaked. One of these pictures shows the white Z3 and the black Z3 compact side by side and we can tell there isn’t much difference. The other picture only shows the original Xperia Z3 from the front. From what we can tell, both the models have thinner bezels as compared to the predecessors. However, we wouldn’t want to spend enough time on these pictures because they might turn out to be fake.
