Sony Xperia Z4 to Launch at CES 2015

As you /4/remember that Sony Pictures was hacked and vital information was leaked by the hackers such as upcoming movie trailers and celebrity details. Now this past weekend an internal email was leaked online. The leaked email revealed details about the upcoming Sony Xperia Z4 Ultra, a new wearable and home much will Sony pay to James Bond to use its gear.

The leaked email reveals that the Sony Xperia Z4 is going to be used as a product placement device in the new James Bond movie that is currently being filmed and will be released in 2016. The email discusses the possible money that Sony would pay to acquire James Bond.

This includes a whopping $5million to actor Daniel Craig to appear as James Bond in an image with the Xperia Z4. Well keeping in mind the huge cost that Sony will have to bear in order to acquire Daniel Craig the email suggests cutting Craig and saving on the $5million to have the Xperia Z4 in an image with the classic Bond gun barrel.

Moreover the email also includes an image of the upcoming device and the email also confirms that the Z4 will not be launching at the CES 2015 next month. The email explains that the smartphone is Sony’s /4/to November flagship and so it seems that it would not be seen for quite some time.

The image for the Xperia Z4 that is seen in the email looks more like a concept drawing rather than the final design. So it seems that the phone has not even reached at the final design stage.

From the image in the leaked email the Xperia Z now has the familiar front and back glass panels, a metal frame and this time it is more squared off along the edges than before. Plus before the Xperia Z4 appears in the Bond movie, the smartphone will have to audition in renders for Bond director Sam Mendes and Daniel Craig.

The leaked email was basically sent to Michael Lynton who is the CEO of Sony Pictures Entertainment by George Leon who is the company’s executive president of consumer marketing. Mobileburn first posted the leaked email. The email suggest of cutting Craig and hire Q instead with the 007 marks including the barrel.

The Sony Xperia Z4’s specs are going to be something to watch out for this time. A Chinese technology website PadNews has first posted the Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet Ultra’s leaked specs. The smartphone will have a 5.5 inch Quad HD 2560 x 1440 display and will also boast an octa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor clocked at 2.8 GHz with the Adreno 430 GPU.

Moreover the internal memory will be 32GB along with 4GB RAM and Cat.6 LTE connectivity with Bluetooth 4.1. The smartphone is also said to have an IMX220 20.7-megapixel rear facing camera. Now if all these specs are going to be in the Xperia Z4 than it will be the most powerful smartphone out there.
