  • Steven Spielberg Makes Big Plans For This Year

Steven Speilberg is planning to go big this year but only after he attends the Oscars. Steven Spielberg reportedly wants to direct Indiana Jones reboot with Chris Pratt.

Steven Spielberg is one of the biggest names in Hollywood just like the Academy Awards and they are closely linked to each other. Other than the multiple times that he has been nominated to receive the award, he has attended the Academy Awards show in the vicinity of being the film’s director, producer, writer and actor’s mentor.

Its quiet natural then that he will again be walking the red carpet this Sunday and attending the ceremony once more. He has definitely not been a part of this year’s nominees but we can still expect one of the nominees to thank him. After all, he is the most thanked person in Hollywood when it comes to acceptance speeches at the Oscars.

According to a Vocativ analysis, Steven was found to be the most thanked person in the history of Oscars. Steven Spielberg has been thanked 43 times in Oscars acceptance speeches during his career.

After the Oscar fever subsides, Spielberg is looking forward to some real action. The new Jurassic Park is set to be released later this year. The trailer has already created a buzz for the movie. It is among the most watched trailers of 2014.

After 14 years, the director had to cast the movie just right to make it work on the present demographics of the box office. Chris Pratt proved to be the worthy choice for the main role.

It seems that Pratt might have delivered a Spielberg worthy performance because he is thinking of casting Pratt in another revival of a movie. Indiana Jones is next on Spielberg’s list of projects. Being revived by Disney, Spielberg is already confirmed to direct the movie. Harrison Ford however will not be Jones anymore. The director and the studios want to get a new Jones and Pratt could be the man.

Deadline first reported about this. It has been in the news for quite a while but the news is gaining strength. The movie is definitely being made but the script is not yet decided. Film reporter Jeff Sneider tweeted that the news of Spielberg making Indiana Jones reboot with Chris Pratt is not yet confirmed.

As soon as the director (Steven Spielberg) finds a suitable script, we can definitely count on the new Indiana Jones movie coming to theaters.
