Widow of Terry Carter sues Cle “Bone” Sloan, Knight, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Bone & Universal Pictures for wrongful death of her husband.

While Marion “Suge” Knight is in custody awaiting a trial for murder charges, the widow of the deceased Terry Carter has sued a number of parties as responsible for her husband’s death.

According to Lillian Carter the parties Knight, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Bone & Universal Pictures and other created such an atmosphere on the NWA biopic ‘Straight Outta Compton’ it led to her husband’s death. 

55 years old Terry Carter was ran over in a parking lot by Knight which resulted in his death and in the lawsuit Lillian Carter claims the incident was avoidable by all the parties involved in the production of the film ‘Straight Outta Compton’.  

The lawsuit, obtained by People, details Universal Pictures along with Dr. Dre and Ice Cube created such a dangerous situation for authenticity by filming in areas known for dangerous gang activities without the escort of armed guards and even used known members of gangs as extras. 

The lawsuit further claims reckless corporate greed resulted in the death of Terry Carter, which has left his wife and two daughters baffled as to why the incident even occurred.

Furthermore the lawsuit states Terry Carter was meeting with Knight to try to mend fences between Knight and various NWA members. Knight was apparently not happy with the way he was being portrayed in the film. Following a fight Knight tried to hit Sloan with his truck it instead hit Carter killing him instantly in Compton, California. 

The lawsuit demands indefinite damages for the Carter family, funeral expenses, lost wages, punitive damages and court expenses as a result of Carter’s death at the hands of Knight.
