Syfy is about to let you in on a secret and that is the Bazillion Dollar Club. It is a documentary series that will send adrenaline junkies for their television remote controls in a hurry.

Syfy has given the go ahead signal to the Bazillion Dollar Club as an exciting docuseries that will be airing soon on your TV set. The testosterone-fueled, highly addictive series takes you, the viewer, into the dog eat dog world of modern innovation and technological progress. It offers a glimpse into a world where you can achieve your dreams twice over and yet continue to make tons of legal tender via your ideas and creativity.

Imagination which is more important than knowledge is the name of this high stakes game. It is a parlor activity of visionaries and those who have a lot of energy. The enthusiasm is literally dripping off the players in the docuseries as they take the bull by the horns with vim and vigor. This is no drama for the mild of heart. It is hardcore and serious stuff that will shake, rattle and roll audiences everywhere.

“The Bazillion Dollar Club gives our audience of imaginative thinkers the opportunity to literally invent the future by bringing to life their visionary ideas and dreams,” said Syfy president Dave Howe.  “This show is important to Syfy’s unscripted strategy to engage fans with entertaining and informative real-world drama that taps into their curiosity, passion and creativity.”

The show starts with a man named Dave who has a startup and another one named Brady who too has achieved an enterprise of his own. They both offer accelerator programs that are the best on the face of the globe. And with that there is launched the billion dollar idea. The tussle and tangle of various companies that are in it for keeps is portrayed with brutal realism. They include Google and Makerbot not to mention Stratasys. Then the notorious PayPal Mafia comes up somewhere in the middle of the arrangements and deals.

LinkedIn, YouTube, Yelp and Yammer all figure in the configuration of companies and conglomerates that have their execs wheeling and dealing to the tune of billions of dollars. The cityscape and mindscape is virtually changed over many times thanks to the super-crisp minds of these big bosses who have plenty of time on their hands to think their options through.

“Part of the fun of science fiction is seeing all of the fantastic gadgets and technologies, and imagining how they could exist in the real world,” said Bill McGoldrick, Syfy’s EVP, Original Content.

Heather Olander, Syfy’s SVP of Alternative Series Development and Production, said, “The inventors that are part of Dave and Brady’s program are developing products and technology that seem like they are ripped straight from the world of sci-fi, but these innovations will be our future reality.”

This docuseries is being made courtesy of Zero Point Production with a little help from some close friends. Comprising one hour episodes that are half a dozen in number, it will amaze and amuse audiences to no end. Seldom has the leading edge in creative enterprises been shown with such smartness and super sensitivity. The drama series will pique the appetites of the gifted amongst us who like to get off their butts and do something for a change instead of just sitting at home and vegetating.

The Bazillion Dollar Club is a six episode, one-hour series that will go in production later this year and it will be aired on Syfy in 2015.
