Samsung’s ‘Next Big Thing’ is here and the company might have already spilled the beans on this one
The start of a fresh new year calls for some amazing new things and Samsung totally understands that. Now that the iPhone 6 is slowly moving down the horizon, Samsung has got the perfect opportunity to cash in and looks like T-Mobile is already getting its hands full.
But first things first, the Samsung Norway website doesn’t appear like it’s too keen on holding in any secrets and it has already dropped a clear hint towards the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S6 which is going to be launched at the MWC in Barcelona. However, the website hasn’t just dropped ‘hints’ but it has clearly mentioned what we should be expecting out of the next flagship.
Listed merely as ‘rumors’, the website has presented three points for us to ponder over;
• “One feature that we might see is forward-facing stereo speakers”
• The new Galaxy is expected to be durable”
• “Samsung Galaxy display is supposed to reach onto 3 sides”
It takes common sense to understand that the company’s official website wouldn’t be talking about these features if they weren’t to make their way to the phone. Also because they seem quite plausible, we think they are pretty much likely to make their way to this year’s flagship.
Since T-Mobile has already kicked off its campaign, the sign-up page has an image which is worth devouring. With the punch line ‘Six Appeal’, the web page displays a nocturnal image of the right side of the handset. A few things are quite visible at first glance; the phone has a metal display and we are looking at a curved display which might hint towards the Edge version of the S6. We already know from previous leaks that the Korean giant has two versions of the phone in store for us.
Talking about the specs, Samsung Galaxy S6 is expected to be powered by home-baked 64-bit Exynos 7420 chipset instead of Snapdragon 810 due to heating issues. According to some reports, Samsung will be using a Quad HD display along with 16MP rear camera and 5MP front facing camera. Interestingly Samsung is likely to use Sony sensor in its next flagship device but this will not be the first time for the Korean giant as it has already used the same sensor in Note 4. Lastly it will be running on Lollypop 5.0 and will come with 3GB of RAM.
One step closer to #TheNextGalaxy reveal at #Unpacked.
