The Good Dinosaur Pixar Movie Opens Thanksgiving Weekend

Disney’s Pixar released the first trailer for The Good Dinosaur.

Pixar released the first trailer of The Good Dinosaur. The teaser starts with an asteroid racing towards earth killing all dinosaur, or does it? In a world where dinosaurs have never become extinct, a young Apatosaurus named Arlo loses his father in an accident.

One day, Arlo falls into a river and gets knocked out by a rock. He wakes up far away from home. During his quest to find a way back to the Clawed-Tooth mountains, he finds a new friend named Spot, a human cave-boy.

The Good Dinosaur movie has suffered some delays. The original director, Bob Peterson, got replaced in 2014 by Peter Sohn. 

This new Pixar movie is very “cartoony.” Reminds a bit of the style of the classic Flintstones. Spot channels Bamm-Bamm Rubble.

The voice cast of the The Good Dinosaur includes Judy Greer (Ivy), Neil Patrick Harris (Cliff), Bill Hader (Forrest), Frances McDormand (Momma), John Lithtgow (Poppa) and Lucas Neff voices Arlo.

The Good Dinosaur will be in theaters on November 25th. the next new Pixar movie is already around the corner though. Inside Out will open in theaters on June 19th.
