The teen with the flaxen tresses, Sawyer Fredericks is the winner of The Voice. He definitely repaid his coach and mentor, Pharrell Williams in full as a dedicated student.
The teen phenom, Sawyer Fredericks left the crowd amazed by his rendition of various songs on The Voice. Especially, his teacher, Pharrell Williams, who had his hopes pinned on him, was delighted when Sawyer won the finale. Sawyer is merely 16 years of age and he has achieved the rare feat of having the most melodious and beautiful voice on the platform.
The folksy soulful singer hails from the Big Apple and was a favorite with the judges right from the start thanks to his extremely self-effacing attitude and tons of talent. Most people with half the ability of Sawyer would be pretty arrogant in their demeanor, but he was an absolute angel in his behavioral repertoire.

Pharrell Williams expressed his incredible pride at having groomed such a prodigy who blew away the competition. As for the second and third winners, they were none other than Megan Linsey whose provenance was good old Nashville, Tennessee, and Joshua Davis who was much older than the other contestants and had a family to look after as well. At the fourth slot was Koryn Hawthorne, another disciple of Pharrell Williams.

After a 120 minute ouevre on the show, Sawyer was declared to be the winner. Sawyer even had the chance to perform live with one of his heroes whom he absolutely adores. This was John Fogerty. Meanwhile, Sheryl Crow (she who has sung such hits as Home and Steve McQueen not to mention Soak up the Sun) also performed on stage at the occasion.
As for the judges, they sang in unison one of the late B.B. King’s songs in memory of the genius R&B singer. Christina Aguilera was present at the event too and she warbled some cool sound bytes with her wonderful voice that amazed everyone. As for Adam Levine and Pharrell, they continued in a similar vein and struck the upper level notes which brought the house down.

Some other artists who showed the audience what they had in the way of resourcefulness and reserves included in their ranks: Mia Z, Kimberly Nichole and India Carney. And Kelly Clarkson was there too and sang her heart out. Ed Sheeran sang “Photograph” with verve while Sarah Potenza belted out the passionate and pretty lyrics of Janis Joplin’s “Piece of My Heart”. It was a fun-filled night and when Sawyer won, the denouement was reached and the show came to a satisfying end.
