U.S Technology Companies showcase New Innovations at 2015 International CES

The world’s largest platform for technology innovation was attended by more than 160 Midwestern U.S companies.

160 technology companies situated in the Midwestern part of U.S which includes Indiana, Iowa, Illinois, Michigan, Kansas, Missouri, Minnesota, Nebraska, Ohio, North Dakota, Wisconsin and South Dakota, are taking part in the 2015 International CES will showcased their new technology innovations.


The International CES is owned and controlled by Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) and is the world’s largest gathering place for all those who thrive on the business of consumer technology. The 2015 International CES will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada and will run through 6th to 9th January.

Rob DeMento, CEO of Mira, based in Chicago, Illinois explained about a new product that her company has been working on. He explained that as the popularity of wearable devices has been growing our company will introduce a new and elegant fitness tracker that will also work as a personal journal.

He stated that the product is especially for the women and as the CES is the largest platform for consumer technologies it is the best place to launch the product.

The 2015 International CES is said to feature 20 different category specific marketplaces which gives opportunity for diverse products and companies to showcase their products accordingly to the categories.

This includes a Personal Privacy Marketplace which is said to educate mobile users are prone to risks to their personal identity and also will show them how products like smart wallets and secure apps can prevent this risk and threat.

Another marketplace at the CES this time is Unmanned Systems Marketplace where the attendees will be shown how drones and other Unmanned Aerial Vehicles are changing the world we live in today. It will show how these devices can be used in different situations such as in times of war or by TV channels when capturing something dangerous.

Brian Pettey, who is the founder and CEO of Robotzone that is based in Winfield, Kansas stated that his company will be featuring its innovative models of precision robotics components and kits at the Actobotics booth at the Sands Expo.

He also explained that Actobotics can help people make a camera slider, a robotic arm or anything related to consumer technology. Brian also expressed that he was quite excited and looked forward for the event as he really wants to interact with other robotics enthusiasts.

Digital Imaging/Photography, Eureka Park, Global Technology, iProducts, Robotics, Smart Home, Sports Tech, Streaming Content, University Innovations, Wearables, and Zigbee are some of the other famous marketplaces at the CES.

Moreover this time the CES will be having a lifestyle marketplace which will include these categories, Fitness & Technology, Health & Wellness, Lifelong Tech, Education & Technology, Family & Technology, and Kids & Technology.

The 2015 International CES is going to have a conference program which will feature 250 sessions and 750 speakers including world renowned leaders from Samsung, Ford and Intel. The 2015 CES is all set to host 3500 exhibitors this time. Let the show begin!
