Vector's new smartwatches will last for 30 days on a single charge

The round face Luna and the rectangular Meridian are going to be water proof and will launch this summer

The smartwatch companies are facing quite a hard time in trying to convince their customers that they are different from others on the market but this is no easy job. From all that we have seen so far we can deduce that the smartwatches we see around us are more or less the same devices with the same features and there are lots of things which keep us from getting one for ourselves. For starters, apps appear to be the most important part of the smartwatches but portability is also the priority at the same time. With more apps, there is more power consumption and hence the battery life can’t keep up. And if you are going for a device with more battery life, you won’t be able to enjoy the full functioning.

We are quite sure that Vector understands this just perfectly. It is here to strike a balance between these two extreme needs and its smartwatch allows users to benefit from various apps without sacrificing the battery life. The design of the smartwatch is also pretty impressive with a more watch-like look but the most attractive feature is the longer battery life. Vector claims that its smartwatch can last about 30 days on a single charge.

Vector is offering two variants; the Luna and the Meridian. Luna is the right choice for those who prefer something similar to a wrist watch as it has a round face and the Meridian on the other hand is a rectangular watch. Luna is priced at $349 whereas the Meridian costs $199.

Both these variants are water proof and can stand up to 50 meters of water. The watches which will have metal bodies are expected to launch this summer and will come with options of metal link bands, stitched leather, or rubber straps.
