Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ co-stars took part in the third episode of Lip Sync Battle. The Spike TV show which shows celebs battling it out through lip-synching popular songs is hosted by LL Cool J and contains some sarcastic commentary by Chrissy Teigen.

Anne and Emily have come a long way since their movie with Meryl Streep but both have also remained friends throughout the years. So it was especially entertaining to watch the friends battle it out through songs.

The duo took the stage to trash talk about each other before revealing their songs.  Then Hathaway opened the show with Mary J Blige’s song ‘Love’ even performing the rap part and took the show home. Emily retaliated by stating she’s not concerned and called the stuff cheap, to which Anne counter retaliated by stating fairly Emily knows cheap… Oh snap!

When it came time for Emily to show off her lip synching skills she opted to perform an old school song by Blackstreets called ‘No Diggity’ eve giving Anne a lap dance during the performance which made the crowd roar up. Similar Emily also expertly exhibited her rapping chops.

Anne then in a hilarious move took the stage to pull a Kanye on Emily by proclaiming her love for Beyonce. Anne then apologised in the same fashion that Kanye did at the 2009 VMA’s but Emily did not take the bait and outright stated Anne is not sorry… ‘Sick’!

After all these little shenanigans Anne took the stage to blow everyone’s mind away by covering Miley Cyrus’ ‘Wrecking Ball’ complete with a ball and chain sand the nudity. While Emily did a rendition of ‘Piece of My Heart’ and gave it all she’s got with a method approach. The inner will be announced on the episode which will air on Thursday on Spike TV at 10 pm.
