Rick Perry Criticizes Obama for Negligence of Border Security

Rick Perry has criticized President Obama for the negligence on his part regarding US border security.

Republican Governor, Rick Perry spoke recently about how the first Black President of the United States didn’t care two hoots about the immigrant situation along the southern border of the US. 

There was an influx of illegal immigrants coming into the States from that region. And the Obama administration’s attitude to the whole situation was one of neglect and turning the other way. 

In fact, the Texas governor said in an interview yesterday to ABC‘s “This Week, that the illegal immigration was being positively encouraged. And Obama himself was not much concerned about the whole problem. 

He acted like it didn’t exist in the first place. And this was a cause for sadness. There was clearly no planning or action being taken to remedy the situation which could have disastrous consequences in the future. 

“I don’t believe he particularly cares whether or not the border of the United States is secure,” Perry said. “And that’s the reason there’s been this lack of effort, this lack of focus, this lack of resources.”

It is a possibility that Rick Perry will be running for president in the 2016 elections. And so he is worried about the state of the nation at present. 

Rick even suggested that the president was giving a silent message to every illegal immigrant that it was alright for him or her to come into the United States regardless of whether it was lawful or not. 

“The president has sent powerful messages time after time — by his policies, by nuances that it is OK to come to the United States and you can come across and you’ll be accepted in open arms. That is the real issue,” Perry said.

When the Texas Governor was asked regarding his comments about there being a conspiracy theory involved in the whole deal, he didn’t back off from the statement. 

He said that Obama /4/actually have his ulterior motives due to which he was allowing such a massive influx of refugees into the greatest nation in the world. 

“When I have written a letter that is dated /4/of 2012, and I have yet to have a response from this administration, I will tell you they either are inept or don’t care, and that is my position,” he said.

He also mentioned that he had written a letter to the Obama administration and he had not received an answer so far. Maybe this was due to the fact that Obama didn’t have a clear cut answer to the question. 

“We have been bringing to the attention of President Obama and his administration since 2010, he received a letter from me on the tarmac. He sends — I have to believe that when you do not respond in any way, that you are either inept, or you have some ulterior motive of which you are functioning from,” he said.

President Obama meanwhile has said that the crisis at the southern border of the US is a humanitarian disaster. He has furthermore requested parents not to send their young children to the borders since they would thus be put in harm’s way.
