Three days after Joan Rivers went into cardiac arrest, her loved ones said Sunday they remain hopeful about her recovery

It has been three days since Joan Rivers suffered from cardiac arrest and till Sunday all her fans and loved ones were quite hopeful and positive about her recovery. Her daughter Melissa Rivers issued a statement for thanking everyone for their support and said “We are keeping our fingers crossed.” Up till Friday, Joan Rivers was in a serious condition according to her daughter.

The 81 year old actress, best known for her comic roles, was rushed to the Mount Sinai Hospital on Thursday after she went into a cardiac arrest. According to a report by The New York Daily News, Joan stopped breathing during a routine doctor’s visit for a throat procedure. She was instantly placed in an induced coma to allow the doctors to assess the height of damage. By Sunday the “Fashion Police” host was on life support.

 

 

She was not only enthusiastic about her TV appearances but was also a very determined female entrepreneur and apart from working for her show on E! and presiding over an online talk show, “In Bed With Joan,” she also designs clothes and jewelry for QVC. She also co-stars with her daughter on the WEtv reality show “Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?”
