From all the signs from Apple and their Cupertino, California based headquarters to all the rumors coming from various websites and blogs, it looks like the Apple Watch should be hitting the market sometime in the Spring of 2015 and as early as March. Final touches are being made to the software for the Apple Watch. The companion app that will go with the Apple Watch has had screenshots of itself leaked online and from the looks of it, the Apple Watch is looking to be simple in design and function but a very highly usable and important tool.

The Apple Watch companion app will be for the iPhone but it will be able to connect or have a ‘companion’ with the Apple Watch. It will allow for things such as customizing to personal preferences, automatic message responses, and other things that you see on your typical smart devices these days. There will be storage for photos and other media on the Apple Watch and also has an automatic lock and unlock feature when it is connected or companioned with another iPhone.

With this new leaking of how the Apple Watch companion app will work, the more the signs are coming that an early 2015 release will happen for the Apple Watch. It will be a highly anticipated one as the release has been one that is several years in the making. The Apple Watch will run on the iOS 8.2 operating system and sources say that the companion app will come out that same time that an update for the operating system is to happen. The update and the companion app should happen right after the Apple Watch hits the market. With this new information being leaked online, it is certainly going to show that the Apple Watch is looking to be the standard in the new and upcoming smartwatch market.
