According to The Verge, by the end of this month we will have the Windows Phone 10 preview version. Microsoft’s next special media event has been scheduled for January 21st on which are going to see some more details on the next version of Windows Phone.

Following the event, the version is going to be made available to interested users and developers via a special Phone Insider application that has already been listed in the Windows Store. With the help of this app, Windows Phone owners will be able to upgrade their devices to Windows 10 but it must be kept in mind that the initial beta will only have limited features because the company is only for feedback right now.

The Verge has also revealed that the next Windows Phone operating system is going to be a combo of Windows Phone and Windows RT as the company is looking for a way to align its mobile, Xbox and desktop software versions in such a way that users can get the same experience as far as the interface is concerned.
