WWE is on Marketing Spree For Brock Lesnar To Cover for His Absence

It goes without saying that Brock Lesnar has been away for a long time. Two months is a long time for WWE fans. Inquisitr has learned that WWE is already budgeting for the promotion of the star.

When Lesnar was crowned the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, the fans expected to see him in the ring every other night defending his belt. However, that has not been the case because his long absence has left most fans thinking that the star was not up to the task of being a champion.

Fortunately for Lesner, he is not an ordinary fighter because he remains in people’s minds even after he is done with his fights. Everyone who has been following him closely knows that he has a tight schedule in Hollywood. But that excuse is not good enough because Rock was there too and he still had the time for WWE fights.

The fans feel that their entertainment has been cut short. Simply put, they want fight fixtures like the Night of Champions when Lesnar clashed with John Cena. Back then, the two fighters had previously faced each other for about two months which left everyone happy. As a matter of fact, expectations were high during their clash at Night of Champions.

On that particular night, his win is said to have been assisted by Seth Rollins. That is in deed an insult to such a big title. Being a champion, he was expected to earn his victory the hard way without using tricks.

WWE has already rolled out a plot that will see them market all the Raw fights that Lesnar will be participating in. They will actually put more emphasis on his fights because they are sure he is highly regarded by most fans. Their main target is WrestleMania 31.

Though Cena and Lesnar are the face of WWE, Brock ranks high and that is why they decided to hold on to him. Vince McMahon knows that Lesnar will not be always there and that is why he and WWE are mentoring other upcoming fighters such as Dolph Ziggler, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Bray Wyatt and John Cena to keep the game going.

Lesner is in deed a brand that needs no introduction. Jim Ross was recently quoted in an interview saying that Lesnar is in the same league with
Muhammad Ali. The fighter continues to be relevant regardless of whether he is at UFC or WWE.

Lesnar has come a long way. He was first a UFC fighter before joining WWE. Word has been going round that he is looking to return to UFC once his contract comes to an end. Only time will tell.
