The Xbox 360 is not dead yet. Microsoft has unveiled three Xbox 360 editions for the Holidays 2014. I recommend to waiting until Black Friday 2014 to buy one.
The Holiday shopping season is approaching slowly, but there are already big announcements on new products that will be huge sellers during the Holiday season 2014. We already featured the Walmart Holiday Toy List 2014 earlier this week and now Microsoft unveiled three new Xbox 360 editions.
The new Xbox 360 500GB Holiday Bundle 2014 will go on sale next week and comes with Call of Duty: Ghosts and Call of Duty: Black Ops. You get also one month of Xbox Live Gold access for the $249 price.
The current Xbox 360 E 250GB Spring Value bundle sells for the same price, but has actually a $299 MSRP. This means Microsoft has cut the bundle price by $50. The new Xbox 360 Holiday bundle is a great deal considering the much larger HDD and cooler games.
Despite the new lower price, you will be able to save even more on the new Xbox 360 Holiday bundle during Black Friday 2014 sales. I expect that retailers will offer the new Xbox 360 500GB Holiday Bundle 2014 for under $200. Best Buy offered a Xbox 360 Black Friday bundle for $189 last year.
Besides the Xbox 360 500GB Holiday Bundle 2014, Microsoft unveiled a Kinect bundle as well. The 4GB Xbox 360 Kinect Bundle comes with Kinect Adventures, Kinect Sports, and Forza Horizon and one month of Xbox Live Gold access. The 4GB Xbox 360 Kinect Holiday Bundle also starts at $249, and will be available at Target in the U.S.
Walmart also gets an exclusive Xbox 360 for the Holidays. The Xbox 360 Special Edition Blue Bundle includes an iconic blue console and controller, decked out with arctic blue accents. The Walmart Xbox 360 Holiday bundle comes with Call of Duty: Ghosts and Call of Duty: Black Ops. You also get one month of Xbox Live Gold access for the $249 price. The Walmart Xbox 360 will be available at Walmart starting on October 7th.
Like with the other Xbox 360 Holiday bundle I expect Walmart to offer this Xbox 360 for under $200 during the Walmart Black Friday 2014 sale.
